Sales Director

Wilmington / Hampstead, NCStarting April 20261099 → W-2 after 90 days

D1 Training is opening a brand-new facility in the Wilmington/Hampstead corridor — one of the fastest-growing markets in North Carolina. We need a Sales Director who can build our founding member base from zero before opening day. This is a ground-floor opportunity to launch a location backed by 100+ gyms nationwide and 40+ NFL athlete-owners.

What You'll Do

  • Own the entire pre-sales pipeline — 2,200 prospects, 330 founding memberships
  • Hit 100 outbound call/text attempts per day
  • Build relationships with schools, youth sports orgs, and the military community
  • Manage leads through CRM with structured follow-up cadences
  • Keep committed members engaged through opening day
  • Daily KPI reporting with ownership and D1 corporate

Required

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting targets
  • Strong phone and in-person closing skills — comfortable with 100 calls/day
  • Highly organized and metrics-driven
  • Available for evenings and weekends during pre-sales
  • Local to Wilmington / Hampstead, NC area

Preferred

  • Fitness industry or gym/studio sales experience
  • Background in youth athletics, coaching, or sports organizations
  • Military recruiting or veteran community connections
  • Experience with CRM platforms (MindBody, etc.)

Compensation

Base Pay

$15-20/hr + commission

Commission

10-15% of first month's membership revenue per signup

Milestone Bonuses

At 50, 100, and 150 pre-sale members

OTE

$8,000-$15,000+ over ~10-week campaign
