Chris Stark served our country for 20 years as a United States Marine, including eight deployments — four with MARSOC. The discipline, teamwork, and relentless pursuit of excellence he developed in the Corps didn't end with his service; they became the cornerstone of everything that came next.
Chris, together with his wife Stefanie and their two children, Christopher and Madilyn, are proud to bring D1 Training to the Wilmington area. They believe every young athlete and adult deserves access to the same elite, science-backed training methods used by professional athletes.
This isn't just a gym — it's a family commitment to developing stronger athletes, building tighter families, and creating a more resilient community right here in Wilmington.

D1 Training was founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to the same training principles used at the Division 1 collegiate level. With over 100 locations across the country, D1 has helped thousands of athletes reach their potential.
The program has produced over 90 NFL Draft picks and countless collegiate athletes. Now, that same proven system is coming to Wilmington — owned and operated by people who know and love this community.
